End User License Agreement

In plain terms: this End User License Agreement ("EULA") spells out the conditions under which you're permitted to install and run the ImagePilotPro desktop application. Downloading or launching the software means you're accepting these terms.

1. Terms used in this document

A few terms come up repeatedly below — here's what each one means:

"Software" / "the App"
The ImagePilotPro desktop client — its installer, compiled libraries, bundled assets, interface components, and any accompanying documentation delivered to your machine.
"Licensor"
ImagePilotPro Software, the entity responsible for building and distributing this standalone converter application.
"End User" / "You"
The individual or organization downloading, installing, or running the application on their own hardware.
"User Content"
Any image files, directory structures, or graphics you feed into the app for conversion.
"Output"
The converted image files the app writes back to your device once a conversion job finishes.

2. What this license lets you do

As long as you stick to the terms of this agreement, ImagePilotPro grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download, install, and run the Software on your own personal or business computer.
  • Use, export, and distribute the Output files you generate — personally, professionally, or commercially.

This license doesn't extend to renting, leasing, sublicensing, or redistributing pieces of the compiled software without our explicit permission. You're being granted the right to run the application — not ownership of it.

3. What you agree not to do

You agree that you won't:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app's binaries or internal conversion logic.
  • Build wrapper tools or modified versions of the app intended to create a competing or cloned product.
  • Remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks, or branding embedded in the interface or program files.
  • Use the app to process content that violates applicable law, including child-protection regulations.
  • Run automated scripts aimed at exploiting the app's memory usage or bypassing how it's meant to run.

4. Who owns what

The ImagePilotPro software — its code, assets, interface design, and trademarks — remains the sole property of the Licensor, protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property law. Nothing about installing or running the app transfers any of that ownership to you.

5. Your own files stay yours

You keep full ownership of anything you feed into the app and everything it produces. Since the client runs entirely offline, the Licensor has no way to see, store, or review any of that content. You're responsible for making sure the files you convert are yours to use.

6. No warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY GUARANTEE REGARDING PARTICULAR COMPRESSION RESULTS, COMPATIBILITY WITH EVERY HARDWARE CONFIGURATION, OR UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

7. Limits on our liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR HARDWARE ISSUES, DATA LOSS, CONVERSION ERRORS, OR ANY FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM USE OF THE APPLICATION. ANY LIABILITY THAT DOES ARISE IS CAPPED AT A TOTAL OF USD $10.00.

8. Updates over time

We may release updates, adjust supported formats, or change what the app offers at any time, without advance notice. The app may periodically check for new versions in the background.

9. When this agreement ends

This agreement stays in effect until you or we end it. Breaking any of the restrictions above ends your license automatically. If that happens, you're expected to remove the software from your device.

10. Export compliance

You confirm you're using the software from a location where that's legally permitted, and that you're not on any restricted party list under applicable trade regulations.

11. How this fits together

This EULA, alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, makes up the complete agreement governing your use of the app. If any single clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of the agreement stays in effect.
